The new architectural proposal for the hotel complex in Kos demonstrates a significant evolution from its original design, focusing on optimizing sea views and enhancing guest experiences. The primary enhancement is the optimization of sea views for all rooms, achieved through reorientation and layout modifications. This ensures that every room offers unobstructed ocean views, greatly enhancing guest satisfaction.
The use of local stone and wood remains a hallmark of the design, blending modern luxury with traditional elements from Kos architecture. Extensive stonework and wooden pergolas create a rustic yet refined ambiance, harmonizing the built environment with its surroundings. Outdoor spaces have been upgraded. Expanded balconies and terraces provide guests with open views to relax. Private yards and shared pools on the ground floor add to the sense of exclusivity and privacy. Common spaces like reception, restaurant, bar and main swimming pool areas have been redesigned for better functionality and aesthetic appeal. These areas now offer more direct sea views and seamless integration with the outdoor spaces.
The project incorporates sustainable design principles, using natural materials and integrating green spaces and water elements. This eco-friendly approach benefits the environment and creates a pleasant atmosphere for guests. The design retains its references from the traditional Kos settlement structure, with narrow corridors, plazas, and the use of light and shade. This balance between modern and traditional elements creates a unique architectural experience. White plaster walls provide a light, airy feeling, contrasting with the sturdy stone base and contributing to the building’s visual elegance.
The interior design continues to emphasize natural materials and soft, earthy tones, creating a welcoming and calming atmosphere. The reception area, with its minimalist aesthetic, sets the tone for a comfortable stay. The restaurant, adorned with rustic stone walls and wooden elements, is bathed in natural light, providing an elegant dining experience. The swimming pool area is a tranquil oasis, surrounded by lush greenery and comfortable loungers. The spa, with its sleek finishes, is designed to provide a holistic relaxation experience. The rooms are a blend of comfort and elegance, featuring soft, earthy tones and minimalist décor.
In conclusion, the new design elevates the guest experience, focusing on maximizing sea views, integrating natural materials, and improving both private and common spaces.
